We are looking for professional minded, self-starters who are serious about maintaining a profitable client service-focused business and having a lot of fun along the way! Candidates must have a variety of travel experiences (various land vacations, cruises, etc.). Ideal candidates also have solid sales and service skills and if you have a passion for travel, even better!
As an IC you own and operate your own business from your own home office, on your own schedule. It’s completely up to you what hours and days you work. Of course, the more you dedicate yourself the more earning potential there is for you.
This sounds great! How do I get started?
Well, I am glad you asked! But first, let me tell you the not-so-fun side of being a travel consultant. First, we don’t get paid until AFTER a client travels. This means that you will put in a lot of time and effort way before you will get the financial rewards. Many times, we put in hours of work on the perfect trip for a client and they go book it on their own so you get………..NOTHING for all of that hard work! It happens all too often, but that’s part of it. There are also times that you will need to be available in case of emergencies- missed flights, hotel issues, random questions. Though many of our most successful agents have other jobs, they do have some way of communicating with their clients 24/7 if an emergency arises. But there are wonderful benefits to this career as well…..
